Kim, Soung-Soo (President of Sungkonghoe University, primate of the Anglican Church of Korea).

Graduated from St. Michael's Theological Seminary in Korea , Soung-Soo Kim studied theology at Selly Oak College , and special education at King Alfred's University in the UK . After he was ordained a priest in 1964 by the Anglican Church of Korea, he has been committed to social evangelization including establishing of Uri-Maeul (Our Village), and an Anglican welfare center for the handicapped. Having been ordained a bishop in 1984, and then primate in 1990, he has been working as president of Sungkonghoe University since 2000.



Kang, Ji Won (Chairman of Children-Youth Forum)

Ji Won Kang is well known for his devotion to the cause of children and youth. His experience as a prosecutor and at the Seoul Office of the Probation and Parole Division of the Ministry of Justice has ignited his passion for the welfare of children and youth. He became the first chairman of National Youth Protection Committee under the Ministry of Culture, then in the Office of the Prime Minister, and has inaugurated Children-Youth Forum in 2001 and led the organization until now.



Kim, Yong-Hae (Professor of Philosophy, Sogang University / priest of the Society of Jesus in Korea)

Yong-Hae Kim joined the Society of Jesus in Korea in 1986, and was ordained in 1996. After having studied philosophy at the Graduate School of Sogang University, he received a master's degree in theology from Insburg University in Austria , and Ph.D in philosophy at Munich University in Germany . He served as assistant priest at Karl Boromaeo Church in Munich , Germany . Since 2002, he has taught philosophy at the Graduate School of Theology in Sogang University .


Ahn, Kook-Jung (President & CEO of Seoul Broadcasting System)

Kook-Jung Ahn filled various positions in Korea Broadcasting System. He now heads Seoul Broadcasting System as President/CEO. When he worked as a producer, he produced various influential TV programs on current affairs, music, and historical dramas. He was awarded Pomegranate Prize in 1983 for his contribution to the program titled " In Search of Family Members Separated since the Korean War. "


Won-Taek (Buddhist priest. Chairman of Paramita-Youth Buddhist Association of Korea )

Since he devoted himself to Buddhist priesthood in 1972, he has participated in various social activities as the chairman of White Lotus Buddhist Culture Foundation and the president of Jang-Gyeong-Gak, a Buddhist publisher. Currently he chairs Paramita-Youth Buddhist Association of Korea, co-chairs Green Korea United, and works as member of the Central Council of Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism.


Lee, Sang-Ki (President of Journalists Association of Korea )

Sang-Ki Lee has been the chair of the Journalists Association of Korea since 2002. He joined Hankyoreh Daily in 1988, and has taken a wide range of responsibility in various positions related with political desk, democratic social affairs, investigated report planning team, etc. He has served as a vice chairman of public relations committee of Community Chest of Korea, and as a spokesperson of the television discussion committee for the 16th presidential election.


Lee, Jung-Sik (President of Christian Broadcasting System)

Jung-Sik Lee joined Christian Broadcasting System (CBS) in 1979 and has been the President of CBS since 2003. He also serves as a Director of Korean National Committee of International Press Institute, the Vice Chairman of Korean Broadcasters Association and the Chairman of Worldwide Korean Christian Broadcasters Association.


Cho, In-Souk (President of Daaree Architect & Associates)

In-Souk Cho runs Daaree Architect & Associates. She studied art history and cultural properties at Munich University and Munich Polytechnic in Germany . She teaches architectural engineering at Dongkuk University and serves as advisory commissioner with Korean Traditional House Committee. Her architectural works include Silvertopia (a welfare facility for aged people), Willows ( International Leisure Center in Beijing ), Kwangduk Temple , Art Gallery Seokparang.



Paik, Kyung-Hak

Kyung-Hak Paik worked as a journalist with Christian Broadcasting System, Hankyoreh Daily and Donga Daily News. He studied as a guest researcher at Geschwester-Scholl-Institut of political science department, Munich University . An unfortunate car accident in Scotland cost his wife's left leg, which has changed the direction of his life. The absolute need of medical rehabilitation in Korea became a real issue to his family. As executive director of the Purme Foundation, he is committed to building a new rehabilitation hospital.
